They are still a family, I do have a couple family members who lost their path years ago and still were a family they came back now though and the reason is we still considered them a valued family members.

I have seen sisters who gossip each other walaahay.... Some families are so bad that the blood relations even don't stop them from being bad to each other...Specially when some have different mothers..And when some moms preach their children to be rude to their half-sisters and half-brothers....I just don't understand what these kind of families are

As for me I would never compare my blood(family) and my friends.... No matter what my family comes first...Maybe I think when some one is like 6-7yrs old they think that friends are better than family...

Severe case of comparing apples to oranges going on here. A person needs both family and friends, it is in our nature. But family is most important, because their love is unconditional. Love for and from friends is conditional. This is why marriages exist, she becomes so important that you make her part of your family.
