Somalia has been more affected by civil war than any other nation I can think of, in the past few centuries.

There must be an upside to all of this. The way the sheik was talking, he made it seem like a prophecy, like Somalis were meant to teach the world and civil war was the only way it could happen. He really believed it too. Maybe it was for the betterment of the world...who knows.

If there is no visible upside to the civil war, in the next 50 years, then I truly believe that Somalia is cursed, no other explanation.
