Ashlee, it depends on one's faith, somalis who believe in Allah do care about what happens to other human beings let alone someone who has much in common with them. Human decency, justice, kindness, are all characteristics of a muslim. I know plenty Mjs who are individualistic, faithful, reasonable, and too sane to care and who don't view a granny in Muqdisho as belonging to a different clan but identify with her and with her misery.
There are somali muslims out there who are true to their word and do not live in pre-islam mentality.
Gamadid that's all nice and dandy, but you and I both know that that these individuals are in the minority. Most Somalis don't give a shit about each other; they only care about themselves and by extension their qabils.
Alchemist,
I'm against the dragging of corpses, does that mean I love the Ethiopians too?

There's a certain level of civility that needs to be employed, even during wartime.
By the way, I wasn't talking about Majerteens, I was talking about non-Hawiyes in general.

Some of these people are happy to see the people of xamar die
The current people of Xamar should have showed sympathy to the innocent people they have killed, maimed and uprooted from their houses 17 years ago. I am not happy with what is currently happening in Somalia but I can see why some people would not be sympathetic to the people of Xamar.
You make no sense at all. It is like blaming your brainless self for Siyad Barre's ruthless decimation of somalis from all clans. Dee nin yohow wax isku fal sambacnimada qurux ma ahan.
Is this how you are supposed to be the smartest among your mareexaan peers?
What do you consider smartest? And why is that every single person I have seen who does not share your views is intellectually not there DESPITE the fact they write and are more articulate than your self?
I think the problem here is the fact you know the validity of the arguments presented to you but hate it because it negates your pillar on justice that you so wishfully would like to present your case on.
Now answer this, are the gibil cad in Shingaani and Xamarweyne rejoicing or crying when Ethiopia shells the Saleebaan in Shiirkole?

What does me being Marexaan have to do with what I said Gamadiid? And what does not make sense about that statement I made above? Some Somalis obviously have not forgotten what happened to them and their relatives 17 years ago in Xamar and can not bring themselves to feel sorry for the culprits behind those heinous crimes. And really I do care for the people of Xamar. I hope they defeat the Habeshis and liberate themselves.

The biggest traitor and occupier of Moqdisha is Hawiye. Ma is weydiiseeen horta Guryaheena aad heysataan. Ma caqligaad la dihiin.
The people you uprooted and maimed 17 years back then
"Abass’s odyssey began in Ifo—one of three refugee camps carved out of the Kenyan desert and collectively called Dadaab. He and his parents, grandmother and five siblings fled there from Somalia in 1992—a harrowing journey by foot, truck and bus. The camp is a depressing, dry and dusty place. "

QansaGabeyle,
The problem with the rationale you presented is that people can not point to an obvious culprit behind their past tragedy. They blame all hawiye when they wouldn't accept the same blame for themselves if they weren't personally involved in comitting a crime or a sin against someone. their logic is flawed saxib religiously, morally, and ethically. Justice has nothing to do with emotions but more to do with what is right or wrong.
Wareer.
I have hard time knowing who is a real victim or who is not since many love to claim victimhood status. The pathetic existence of miserable bigots. Most likely you are lying like the 90% of those who whine about homes in Muqdisho and about being victimized when they never experienced anything tragic or had a home in Xamar. Many a person I have seen complaining about Hawiye who never saw a Hawiye person let alone live in a city they were in the majority.
We have four homes in Muqdisho and we have non as I write, some occupied and others looted. You never catch me blame Abgaal. My father was beaten beyond recognition by Siyad Barre's Red berets. Have you seen me complain about mareexaan or Daarood? He was once again beaten by Yalaxoow's Mooryaan.
Dowladsade.

'' are the gibil cad in Shingaani and Xamarweyne rejoicing or crying when Ethiopia shells the Saleebaan in Shiirkole?''
You know what, why don't you answer the question. These simple rethorics are not credible coming from the mouth of an expansionist, expanding into the lands of tuni, biyamaal, banjuni etc.

The Benadiri intellectual community stands on the side of Patriots, despite all the horrible crimes committed against them.
----
Check
http://www.benadir-watch.com/About the organisation:
Benadir-Watch defines itself as the voice of the indigenous people of the Benadir of Southern Somalia, from Mogadishu, Merka, Brawa, to Kisimayo and their immediate hinterland. Benadir-Watch seeks the recognition of the identity and rights of these silent communities who bear the scars of a century of colonialism, injustice, and alienation. Benadir-Watch seeks the recognition of the original boundaries of the Benadir in accordance with the legitimate claim and historic desire of the Benadiri people to remain under one regional indigenous administration.
Yet, their website is the most concerned of all Somali websites with the fate of the Mogadishu civilians.
Also, every Benadiri person I come accross is more Somali than the nomadic ones. They have no grudge, no ill-feeling towards been Somali, no suspicion. Wallahi they are the pride of Somalis.
That is what I call: Patriotism and dignity.
Insha allah, they will get their share of power in Benadir region.

For all Somali's I have to say get over it. It was 17 years ago. Every clan did horrible crimes. No one clan is a victim.
Its not good that bodies are dragged in the streets but I condone it. I have no sympathy for a Ethiopian soldier in Somalia. If he gets cut up into a thousand pieces it makes me happy.
My heart goes out to all the innocent people in Xamar who are suffering.
Do some people not believe that Xamar has nobody who is innocent in it??

My final line: Drag the Tigrys, chop off their heads and play soccer with them or do whatever you want. I have ZERO sympathy whatsoever, and Wallahi I actually enjoyed seeing their bodies being dragged. Stay the fock in your shidhole in Addis and don't go into neighboring countries you have no business in. My final line: I HATE Tigray, but I also hate Hawiye hypocracy with singing patriotism slogans after literily taking a shid on Somalia for 20 years. The tactics Hawiye use nowdays are "Tigray is in the country, Tigray is in the country" but that is ridiculously oversimplifying matters. Yes they are in the country, but that was the final manifestation of 20 years of Hawiye mayhem in Somalia which finally led to Tigray being able to walk right in to Somalia. Now Somalias occupied forever and its fcked. I blame Hawiye 80%. Good job

If your problem is Darood then please stop using the diin as your main point of argument. Darood are muslim just like the rest of Somalia.
Use the clan card they seem to know how to use it effectively stop resorting to diin if thats not the reason for you because there are some of us who diin is the first and only reason.

Akhi al karim, until you do not know the problem of somalia then you cannot have solution to solve the problem. How can a doctor help a person suffering from cancer without know what cancer is and where it lies? Subhanallah, the problem of somalia is hartiabgaal and darood. We have to cutt their strongholds. Without slaughtering them, somalia will never be in peace because they are the reason of all problems facing somalia today.
