Insha Allah, waan kuu soo duceynaa! May you be admitted to Al-Azhar and continue the legacy of the Sh. Sufi name, aamiin. I was reading online a few days ago about the horrible state of the Sh. Sufi Mosque in Mogadishu. In June 2006, when I visited Mogadishu I used to visit it, it was reconstructed by the UIC and it was very busy, even Sh. Umal gave a few lectures there. But after the Ethiopians came, they closed it down and made it a place for them to torture people. Subhanallah!
From what I have understood regarding this issue we decide our own fates. To Allah the concept of time does not exist, Allah is the past, the present and the future. Whereas a mortal would have to wait his lifetime and then some to witness the day of judgment, to Allah, the day of judgment, the beginning of the universe, the present are all in front of him.
The Prophet (saw) said: "A man will do bad deeds all his life and when is nearing his death, start doing good and end up as one of the people of heaven, and another man will do good things all his life and when is nearing his death will start doing bad things, he will become from the people of hell" Sahih Bukhari
makes perfect sense
its two perspectives in that case
one of Allah SWT
and then of us
since we can't comprehend or have any idea of our fate or whats ahead, we just have to live
So did you grasp everything Harun Yahya said about "Time & Fate"? The lecture is a little bit complicated, it took me a while to understand the whole concept.

On the authority of Abudullah bin Masud, who said: the Messenger of Allah (saw) and he is the truthful, the believed narrated to us : "Verily the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's belly for 40 days in the form of a seed, then he is a clot of blood for a like period, then a morsel of flesh for a like period, then there is sent to him the angel who blows the breath of life into him and who is commanded about 4 matters: to write down his means of livelihood, his life span, his actions, and whether happy or unhappy. By Allah, other than Whom there is no god, verily one of you behaves like the people of Paradise until there is but an arm’s length between him and it, and that which has been written over takes him and so he behaves like the people of Hell-fire and thus enters it: and one of you behaves like the people of Hell-fire until there is but an arm’s length between him and it, and that which has been written over takes him and so he behaves like the people of Paradise and thus enters it.
^Some scholars accuse Harun Yahya of being too liberal & controversial, did you listen to his other lectures before about evolution and creation?
