First of all I like Dahir Alasow.
Secondly, the exact reason that both the Tigray led Afbijo government and the Al shabab youth were after him were different reasons.
The TFG were against him, because he a the kind of reporter that goes everywhere, reports and posts pix of slayed Ethiopian and daba dhilif troops. he is not afraid to report from the front lines.
On the other hand, the Al shabaab were after him, because The Al shabab wanted to make the war to be about somalis liberating their country from Ethiopia and not Hawiye vs. Ethiopia+darood, which seemed to be the way Alasow spread his news. They didnt' find that particularly well, however they shouldn't threatened to kill him. That is just wrong.

I have read many reports that didnt exactly impress me.. from waagacusub.. but never the less dahir has a right to do his job as a journalist and report from somalia with out receiving threats no matter what political groups or instutions think.
