If you really need to see pictures worse than this you will need to pay a visit to the colonial museum of Italy in Pisa. There you will find the uglies pictures of colonial Italy in Southern Somalia. People getting karbaashed in the middle of the street for just tresspassing into the Whites Only area. The typical aparthied colonialism.

Qadiif Sharmaarke Cali Saalax was the first somali governer of Zaylac he ruled Zaylac over 31 years and taxed every slave export. Oral history has it he use to run his hands through the slaves hair and say " A tashhad in Laa Ilaah Ila Alaah wana Maxamed Rasuul Alaah" if the salves is a Muslim he would know the testimony easily and thus be realsed , Xaaji Sharmaarke banned all Muslim Salves from the port of zaylac.
Most of the slaves were females and realsed Muslim female slaves were given to the Ciise and Gedabursi as a pride.
Xaaji Sharmaarke was kiddnapped by the French colonials allied with his Anfar rivals Burhaan Beeh and Saydi Abubakr , he was taken to Jedda saudi Arabia and mysteroiusly killed upon the vessal in 1861.
His son Shire Sharmaarke attempted to regain both Bulaxaar and Berbera and was killed by the Habar Awal , despite that his other son Maxamed Sharmaarke was Ottman governor of Berbera when the British arrived in 1884, you can read the book "Under the Flag : somali coast stories 1884".
