I have no problems if you are Hawiye or Muqaawama sympathizer or what not; in fact I have seen some Majeerteens that sympathize with the Muqaaama, laakiin you and ilkoyares need to stop the double standards. Either you stand with Muqaawama or you need to be out in the open against them. Thats pure munaafiqnimo. I can bring a lot of threads were you said the Muqaawama are strictly fighting with Majeerteen but not with Tigre. Don't let me embarrass you

First of all I don't know muqaawama, 'Biliqo-wia' or whatever fancy names you want to call it. I'm with whoever shot those Tigray and dragged them in the streets. Whoever killed them, no matter if there Hawiye or Dishishle are the people I admire and respect. The Ogadeens, Itixaad, Raxanwein didn't come to Xamar to fight Majerten but they came to fight Tigray and they'll fight along with Hawiye and anybody else who's doing so. There are Marexaans on this site that lost personal family in Diinsoor, Idaale and other places and was there goal "fighting Majerten"? No. There goal was fighting Tigray. Those along with other patriotic Somalis are the ones I'm with. Kal saar arrimaha.

Re-read what you wrote because that made no sense whatsoever. So you are with Ogadens, Rahanwyen that are strictly against Tigre but are against the Hawiyes that are fighting along with them? We are in the same page then

Sxb, an enemy of your enemy is your friend. It is in Somalias best interests for Tigray to leave as soon as possible so we can solve our problems. If the man next to me is Hawiye, and fighting for looted property, we'll continue fighting together against the enemy, and when that enemy is gone, I'll turn around, and we'll deal with each other accordingly.

Clannist Hawiye are against the UIC as much as Clannist Darod, Issaq, Dir, Digil and Mirifle. The same way Islamist Hawiye, Darod, Issaq, Dir, Digil and Mirifle support them.

Some people are incapable of understanding this conflict outside the clan perspective, and it's sad.

Another reason why 'traditional leaders' will face the same fate as warlords and traitors.

These times are valuable lessons for Hawiye masses. They have now seen the ugly truth about the socalled 'traditional leaders' (read: illiterate old men) and the socalled 'political leaders' (read: warlords and traitors).

For example, this Ugaas dude is discrediting the resistance while Ceyr masses are the backbone of the resistance, and most fightings happens in Ceyr neigbourhoods while Ceyr people have lost both politically, economically and militarily since the beginning of 2006.

Also, when one looks back at the history of Italian expansion into Somalia you can see why ''traditional leaders'' are the doors for foreign explotation of Somali lands and people.

Considering this long history of been a magnet for foreign adventurism and aggression, coupled with the primitive nature of this political system which keeps Somali people locked up in primitiveness...isn't it save to say that these ''traditional leaders'' should be annihilated?

Hawiye masses can only be represented by people who care about their interest and security. In this way, the Hawiye elders (Golaha Dhaqanka iyo Midnimada Beelaha Hawiye) in Mogadishu seem to do a quite good job...serving the needs of the people.

Post-annihiliation of ''traditional leaders', democratically elected ''elders'' can perform the functions of the old traditional leaders. Also, accountability is served by this modern version of traditional leader.

Since Hawiye masses have not yet the privilige of electing their ''traditional leaders'' they can do with those that at least stand side by side with them.
