No not really. I never had any problems with anyone or anything because I am a somali. So there was really a reason for me to want to change my identity. I also feel that somalis are the realest people ever, even with all their shortcomings. I just find every other group of people I have encountered while in the west to be extremely superficial and that I can not stand and I do not want to ever have anything to do with people like that. Somali till I die........my adeer said it best wallahi.......Somali baan ahay Sanku neefle iga sareeyo majiro.

All I know is I have more 'enerchy' than I did 5 years ago 'because I'm Somali'

In all truthfulness, I can do that without difficulty if I wanted to but it by no means crossed my mind. There’s nothing Somali about me other than this forum. In real life, walahi you will have a grim doubt about my Somaliness.

O sheekada sheegey doontid wa maxay? Waliga sheekadeyda ba un heeseysa ee. Anyways, waxa kaga waraamo ma jiiran eedo. All I'm trying to say is for someone to question his Somalinimo is going through identity crisis and severe self esteem issues, for his is not happy with what/who he is.

even if you dont like whats happening in somalia somalinimo will never leave you when i was taking the american citizenship they told me to swear an oath that i will have no alliegance to a foriegn prince (which i do) and nation (somalia) and i didnt swear walahi why would i how could i.

I hate somalinimo. But if you mean: do you hate yourself for being somali(big forehead,etc). No man,i dont hate it.Some jahiliin thinks iam pakistani. Infact,i feel sorry for south asians for their small eyes and west africans for their big noise and black skin.
