Yes, it's in man's nature to want to have more than 1 woman esp. if he can take care of it. It's just that some parts of the world allow a man to have a 2nd wife and the other half of the world allows a man to have only 1 wife but lets him cheat around with multiple women.......sometimes not even acknowledging their own kids out of wedlock due to society stigma.

So who loses out there? The other woman and innocent children. Why not acknowledge and provide for them?

I don't know if it's me but I have seen a lot of single women around and they would be happier if they were co-wives instead of condemned to a life of being single or trying to steal a married man away.

The reason for marrying a second wife has nothing to do with out growing each or changing interest.
I want to have kids in my 50s, 60s and even 70s.
Also a woman of your age reasons and acts like she is ten years older than you.
Men have different sexual drive. Kufaars keep one woman for life but more than compensate for second wife by halving affairs.
What am I to do?

I agree with you and that is why it's allowed for man to marry more than one if he wants and of course with conditions. I rather my husband to marry a pure lady than cheating on me with some one I don't know where she has been and how many men she slept with.

But that is me, some women would kill me for saying this.

If something is xalaal you do not have to enumerate every single reason under which it is permissible. It can be xalaal for reasons you can name and also for reasons you can't name.

Maybe you can have a 2nd wife because you outgrow each other or for other reasons.

Food is xalaal and I eat it because it is how I live. But I can also eat it because it tastes good.

I love my somali BLOOD..and wont mix it with someone white..chince..or whatever the other person is.My kids has to be 100% somali.Just look to mixed children and how much hate the meet everyday.I could never do that to my children.They have to be proud of who they are not be ashamed about it.

You are talking about racism walaal that is normal as long you liv in these gaalo countries...but take that as exampel...let say mixed child somali and swedish blood.....you know our pple and how judgemental they are...do you think they will accept him......i doubt it....guess what he feel rejected there....
then he goes to his swedish friends and thinks he belongs there...but think again...they reject him too.....see what i'm talking about the poor kid doesnt belong anywhere....in the end he will have identity crisis.

So why do that to ur kids.

Yeah some women would kill you for this b/c a combination of selfishness, short-sightedness, and simply jealousy.

It's like "Hear no evil see no evil" & "what she doesn't know won't hurt her" b/c as long as there is no visible competition for her husband she's OK with it even if she knows he's cheating.

He could be getting STDs from strippers, whores, cheap women and due to that women's short-sightedness she will end up getting those STDs as well.

Wouldn't it have been better if she allowed him to marry a 2nd women who is clean and pure?

Especially in the minority communites in the US, women get a whole lot of diseases b/c of this kind of stuff......the #s for African American women are astronomical oftentimes when the women is single and got it from her boyfriend of Fkbuddy.

This is a fair comment but again somalis will still discriminate against each other based on qabil,family issues and all that shit. I think it is down to you as a family how you enpower your children to be confident and stand against any sort of discrimination including racism, discrimination weather they are accepted or not.

If a man decide to have second wife he have to be aware of treating his wives the same way and you know daam well somali men dont do that.They always prefer the young one and be more with her which make the first wife pissed off.If every man treated his wives with the same affection no women would hate the second wife.
