Iman is over 50 i think, and far as i'm concerned i approach this with "to each his own" attitude. what i'm curious about though is why she hasn't yet used her fame and image to raise awareness or funds for Somalis in refugee camps.

Models are paid to look pretty and not talk much.......the public only has so much tolerance for controversial political causes.........Somalia is one of them and the Western media doesn't care.


If she were to talk about Darfur she would be on CNN Heroes and Larry King Live and the media would be praising her conscience.

Talk about Somalia and people will start saying: "You're a model stop talking poltics'

there are countless models and celebs out there that use their image for a good cause, being affraid of crucified in a court of public opinion should not be an excuse. i believe that if you are in a position to help people through whatever means than public opinion shouldn't be an obstacle.
