gurey you keep living in the 90s man
The Worldbank and IMF are not what they used to be .
Did you reckon how the Senegalese president refused the deal with EU during the Lisboa top meeting with Africa?
The West is loosing terrain and Africa knows it ( Senegals President
We have approximately 3 million people .
And another 400 000 in diaspora .
The first thing we should do is to turn down the Africom agreement from the americans.
We dont need them or there money.
All we need is to put our act together .
All of Somalilands people head to head

Re: Just how is Eritrea able to afford all these Jet Fighters?
Do u remember what haile salassie said, he said to his government that they need to spread qaad all aroud somalia so that the somalis never produce a government which is independant and a government that is powerful...markaas are they ur friends?
sxb they hate me and u and all somalis more than shit, they're killing our people's in the tens of thousands, now dont talk about afbiijo cos he's a puppet and they would've still invaded with our without him..
They have made a puppet government in Somaliland...subxanallah sxb open ur eyes..tomorrow they may invade "somaliland" on the pretext of terrorism....they're messin about with us sxb wallahi they are, wallahi wallahi thuma wallahi maalin dhow xabashidu dhabarka ayay ka jabayaan, ilaa addis ababana wey uu guurguuran nacalatullahi aleyk, cadowgii ilaahay weeyaan, they are also my enemy ilaa yowmul qiyaama!

He was my first cousin , he's dead now !!
Re: Just how is Eritrea able to afford all these Jet Fighters?
The Eritreans are much more united than us Somalis and that is the main reason like gurey25 mentioned.
Think about it, we buy Qaat and on top of that all our remittance money cancels out b/c we are paying for weapons we use on each other or paranoia.
The funny thing is it seems the Eritreans want to return the favor back to us as well but are having trouble doing that. Partly because of neutralizing Ethiopia but partly because of gratitude.
I had an old guy in the Somali military tell me a story:
He was in Syria and he checked into the hotel, the clerk told him that there were 3 other Somalis that were staying there and when he found them they were Eritreans on Somali passports. They were 'Somali students' studying medicine in Baghdad and worked in Europe for the summer where they each made $3,000.
He told me out of gratitude to Somalia they each gave him $500 out of their money b/c he was a Somali soldier.

Re: Just how is Eritrea able to afford all these Jet Fighters?
qaad is a powerfull thing for the warlords and the goverment. in somaliland they have a goverment but they are not recognised so i understand why they are selling the shit. in somalia they dont have a strong goverment yet so the
ppl are making their money with qaad i still remember this hooyo in muqadisho who told the interviewers i sell qaad to feed my childeren sad but true.
you could see it when the icu banned qaad how the qaad revolution was going in to place lolz.but did you knew that the icu leaders were selling qaad and even chewing?qaad is just part of the bussiness it just depends on how you use your money with all the money you can indeed buy jet fighters ore doing something good for your country. but the money is also in someone else hands the warlords they just buy weapons with it atleast in the south.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that Eritrean MIGS performed poorly compared to the Ethiopian SU-27s, in fact the performance of the Ethiopian SU-27s was the main reason behind the Eritrean purchase of the SU-27s. MIG 29 is a superb fighter no doubt, but it is not as good as the SU-27s. I think it was a great idea to hire former communist bloc mercenries to fly those jets.
