It would be very unlikely full scale war because they are the same people..

but they did have a few minor border clashes around 91/92
it was in 96.cigaal soldiers clashed with issa millitants. cigaal policy with djibouti was bad to worse.

and teeda kalee guys dont forget djibouti cant declare war to any country since the french and the us soldiers are their. other countries will think twice before they declare war to djibouti.

Djabouti and somaliland might be on better terms now under Riyaale because he can relate to them better. But D'jabouti's policy towards somalialand does not support independence.Since this is the most important goal for the somaliland government and djabouti opposes it.Its only a matter of time before any sort of good will is eroded.
Why is it that the government of djabouti who are the same people that live in somaliland support a one somalia and the government of somaliland doesn't.

djibouti doesnt support one somalia ore else they must be part of it.they are just peacefull to somalis and djibout did alot of hard work for the ppl of somalia the last thing good thing they did is accepting the southern refugees in their country.thnx to riyaale who is now in office the relationship between djibouti and somaliland is indeed getting better djibouti even recognised the somaliland basaboor.it takes time give it a rest.the reason why it doesnt recognise somalilands independence is cuss of siyasaad sxb.if somaliland should be recognised berbera port would be more important and populairder than the djiboutian one thats why.so thats why djibouti and arab states alongisde eritrea are in one boat and they are all against somalilands independence.ethiopia on the other who had no port at that time pissed them off and choised for the berbera port.waa siyasaad sxb.

faqash if somaliland and ethoipia went to war, what side would you be on?
it depends on what the situation is if somaliland just like sheikh inda adde declare war to ethiopia and ciidanka somaliland invade hawd and wants to go further yes than the ethiopians do have right to defend them selves.vice versa to. but in a war i wouldnt support nobody since nobody will be the winners only losers and esp in the white men eyes. but to your q i think that will never happen.
before sheikh inda adde declared war on ethiopia, ethiopian soldiers were already in somalia baydhabo training and fighting along side the TFG, 2 prefend the mujahideen taken over the konfuur. so who was atacking who?
ethiopians use to be in somalia remember the war between ethiopian troops and al-ittihaad?they know that sheikh xassan dahir aweys use to be part of the al-itthaad and was now part of the icu so how should they trust these guys.thats why they sended few of their troops already to baydaboi only to train the tfg troops.meles zenawi only gived warning shots than.the icu falled in his tricks and they declared war to ethiopia.and even than ehiopia still had patience with them. but the icu sended their millitants to diinsoor and to bay and bakool places. the tfg felt treathed and thats how they invited the ethiopians.even though i know ineey siyasaad iska tahay.and bush inuu hataa kaa dambeeyo waa laaga yabaa.we dont know really how it went.however what we know is that the icu made a big mistake to declare war on ethiopia and attacking the tfg.
