Still, ma qaateen lacagtaas walle...Ilaahay amarkii la col baan ahay...Xoolaha dadka...

I would rather live in a two bedroom apartment with my own money than a mansion from my father-in-laws money! I would feel like I am owned! Yes I wouldn't mind and I would appreciate if I was rescued out of terrible tragedy..Even though I would try my best to pay back...But there is no way on earth that I would accept the offer if I can survive...
good for you kambuli that's what a real man would do I agree with you.

Was it an insult ? NO.

Was it good for future business ? YES.

Personally, i wouldn't accept it but i think he should despite the fact that he got a good job already and makes relative good money.
It is part of his wife's culture to accept those type of "gifts" or atleast it's part of some sort of ritual that has been put into practise with his other son in laws.

He choose to marry a woman of a different background, which comes with different culture, practises, norms and values.
Accept whatever comes with it, but nothing to an extreme.

Kambuli, there's plenty more of where that came from.

Sure why not. I just hope my future in-laws will turn out to be great. I prefer having a girl with no parents though. An orphan.

What pathetic man would accept that offer?? A Somali "man" thats who...I don't even know where to begin...What woman would be with a man who can't even provide for himself or her, and what father in law would allow his daughter to be with a dead person....

Pink Bunny, lets not get carried away here.

The topic maker clearly layed out the scenario which included:

A somali man
Married to pakistani woman
He works, got a good job + makes sufficient money
The womans father has done the same with the other son in laws.

"What woman would be with a man who can't even provide for himself or her, and what father in law would allow his daughter to be with a dead person...."

As you can see, there's no relevancy between your comment and the topic at hand.

There is a relevancy because why would someone offer basically charity if you don't need it. The "man" has a job and can put food on the table, but can't provide the dining set (the furniture) to put the food on.....

Luggoyo, it feels funny to call u 'Xaaji' --your perverted history makes it impossible. But of course diinta encourage repenting, so i suppose it will take time to get used to it! LOL

Basra,

I am not dropping any dough, it's just that I am negotiating for more, what's wrong with that .....loooooooool Tell odey Cilmi Boodhari to dig his pockets deeper.

Xaaji is part of the born-again strategy, I am trying to polish the tarnished name and this is the best I can do
