Patriot,
Saxib, supporting the genocide of Somalis by Xabash is disgusting.
I remember back in 1993, the same group of individuals were cheering & marching for the UNOSOM II & US operations against General Caydiid (AUN).
Some even went as far as to burn Somali flags and wave UN ones.

AW,
You can't possibly compare the showdown btw. UNISOM & Aideed with Somalia's current situation? Aideed & HG were both hated by most clans including other Hawiye clans (Abgaal, Murusade, etc.) because of what he inflicted on the people. Forget about what happened to Daarood, I heard Aideed used to order atleast 50 hoobiye to be fired at Godka (Bermuda) & Kaaraan during the 1991 and 1992 in fighting with abgaal & Murusade?
How can you expect any non-HG clan to feel sympathy for Aideed & USC/SNA during their battles with UNISOM? Let's be rational, here.

Koronto,
I don't expect there to be LOVE for HG but at the same time, I don't expect Somalis to cheer for the demise of HG at the hands of foreigners. Its one thing if Somalis kill each other and a whole another issue if foreigners do it and worst of all are being cheered on by fellow Somalis.
Think of it this way, just because Issaq and Ogaden don't like each other does it make it right for the Issaq to hand over Ogaden to Ethiopia knowing that they will be killed ?

AW,
In 1993, the memory of what HG was doing to non-HG clans was fresh in the minds of the people. So, eventhough it is immoral to cheer for American marines, they still cheered. Abgaal were throwing parties all over Kaaraan celebrating what was going down in Black Sea, because to them "My enemy's enemy is my friend." I'd a Kurdish friend who was an adamant supporter of Bush, because to him; Bush freed Kurdish Iraq from the oppression of Saddam, he doesn't care about the fact that American bombers have decimated that country and killed over 600k Iraqi Muslims.
As for those that cheer for Ethiopia's occupation, you still have those elements who hate HG more than anything else, because of HG's history and the crimes they inflicted on many clans. You're dealing with people who have an I.Q. less than that of a goat, Somalis are very ignorant people and always miss the bigger picture.

Re: Portland Maine Demonstration for Ethiopian Occupation
Is this the only place where the Tigree loving Dhabayocos outnumber other Somalis? It appears that way! I don't know any Somalis from Portland. The only person I know from there is this African chick that I used to deal with few years back(Istaaq Furulaah, Ilaahoow Danbigeena Dhaaf). We need to send more Somalis over there to outnumber the few puppet Dhabayocos. It is very unfortunate that when thousands of Somalis are being killed by Tigree occupation forces, some Somalis are supporting that. Very tragic Walaahay.

Koronto:
Those people are indeed ignorant. I would on principle alone never cheer on a foreigner over a Somali.
Guhaad,
There are a lot of HG in Portland especially Sacad. I spoke to a few who told me about it. Even the most moderate person sounds very pissed off at the counter rally.

Intellex,
Rer Boston are more ilbaax than those Rer Badiye of Maine.
There was no PROXABASH demonstration there because the people know what it means & problems it brings.
zulaika,
Nah, I had to leave before then (Lord knows what mischief I would be involved in).
I finally met some successful Canadian-Somalis who have nice jobs, and are assimilated into Canadian society. I saw a whole another side of Tdot & am fast becoming a fan (plus I qualify to move there as a skilled immigrant, something I am seriously considering).
So what do u think of my counterdemo ideas ?
abdi,
your counter-demonstrations ideas are comical and quite manipulating at the same time. brilliant, very Machiavellian of u lol.

Zulaika,
I am in love with TDot. I take everything I said about the Xalimos from there. I was hanging out with lowlifes but no more.
I am on a positive "rethink" of Toronto & its wonderful Xalimos.

Re: Portland Maine Demonstration for Ethiopian Occupation
Zulaika,
Well it was hanging with my well off uncles and their friends. I went to a whole another side of the town and saw & did things beyond the Etobicoke area.
I was also set up with a female friend of the family. I was impressed at her intellect, grace & wit. She was rebuffing me & I liked it. Her mentality was intriguing & her confidence intoxicating.
Alas, long distance never work out.
