Re: Is America ready for a Black President?
i had a candid talk with a co worker a while ago, our discussion led us into politics and she said that she liked Hillary Clinton, so i asked her, why? "she's strong, she has experience and eveyryone i know is voting for her", she replied, so i said to her, African Americans are always talking about wanting and needing a black president, now that you have the chance, why aren't you supporting him, she couldn't give me a clear answer, so i think Obama will lose the black vote, white america and the rest of the world might be ready for a black president, but black america isn't, in a way they have that in common with Somalis, it's the pride in them that won't allow them to respect one of their own, they soccumb to oursider leadership, no matter how bad. for them it goes back to the slavery days i suppose, and in Somalia's case, Colonialism.
well said. but i woudnt really say lose the black votes since its to early to say that.however yes black voters are divided in between barack obama and clinton.the black voters who vote for clinton dont look from their black eyes waxeey iskuu xasteen dab american yes like somalias case colonialism.black leaders like 2pac malcom x martin luther king all spoke out against the illuminti but to bad our ppl had fallen in the white mens media tricks.they must be rolling in their graves.and for somalias case sayid syl and all those freedom fighters that give birth to our sick nation of today.
