Iran should be our model country. Islamic and progressive. They will be a superpower soon which is why the West and Israel is trying to stop them.
Because u say so?
Yes, Because I said so.
Oke. Thats your belief.
But reality tells us that iran is not even regional superpower, let alone worldwide superpower.

Re: IRAN NEXT SUPERPOWER??
Before you become a world super power you have to have paid your dues as a regional superpower. America during the 1800's was busy taming their regional rivals like the spanish, mexicans, indians, confederates, carribean. Then they conquered the pacific after taming the japanese. Then they saved Europe, conquering the west. Even then they had to deal 50 years with Soviet Union.
It's not easy becoming a superpower.

Re: IRAN NEXT SUPERPOWER??
Iran's dream at this point is to be a regional superpower.
There are 1st rate powers, 2nd rate powers, and 3rd powers.
A 1st rate power - a superpower - would have to be able to project military force throughout the world. China isn't even poised to do so yet, let alone Iran.
Iran is struggling to be a 2nd rate power - capable of projecting force in their own region.
Scandinavians make their own jets, boats, and cars. Are they a superpower?

Re: IRAN NEXT SUPERPOWER??
Irani military is the most hyped up military I have ever heard. These guys make a 2nd generation jet plane and call it a next generation plane! One thing you have to give to is that they have pride and determination!
Re: IRAN NEXT SUPERPOWER??
^^^ They make next generation IEDs :-)
If you think about it that's significant progress for having a revolution only less than 30 years ago.
But they have a lot of educated hardworking people. You can find Iranian professors everywhere in the US.
Not to mention centuries of history & civilization.

Not really. These guys are the most non-sense group of people I have ever seen. During the 1980s and 1990s, Russia and China offered them their most advanced fighter jets and naval ships. Also, an offer was made to them to re-equip their Tomcats which were suffering due to American sanctions. The offer included, a Russian-made engine which would be way more advanced then their current American one, a Russian missile package which included R-77s and other advanced beyond visual range missile and also a 4th generation avoinics and radar package. The fuckers rejected the whole deal and said they would do an in-house re-structuring of the jet. A decade later they came up with this!
