Look at these ppl...Somalia has no military. Why would we risk having HIV infected AU troops in our country if we had our own army that's actually capable of fighting.....There appears to be confusion between police and military.

Don't underestimate the militias; they have close to 2 decades of fighting/warfare experience. They have experience fighting American and coalition forces (Operation Restore Hope). What experience has the Djiboutian military got? Djibouti as a country is being protected by French and American military bases. And look at the Iraqi insurgency; America with all its might (including air and sea supremacy) couldn't defeat it so far. With regard to the HIV infected AU and Ethiopian troops, America is providing them intelligence, military, logistical, financial and other support, and they have yet to defeat the Somali insurgency.
