So i speak maha tiri i dont even know what that means. So i wouldnt understand May May at all than i guess damn i never knew that. Is it like Anfari?
Maha tiri means what did u say, and maay tiri means what did u say, thats how the dialects got theer names. Maay maay, and maha tiri. Maay and maha means what respectively..

I don't know what Anfari sounds like. Since u can't tell Somali's apart and don't know whos Digil and Mirifle find a Somali bantu and tell them to talk to u in af-maay, or Koronto's parents.

King of Awdal, it is not a different accent, I can understand reer Xamar since it is a different accent or reer Hargeisa since it is a different accent, but Af May is point blank a different language

Awdal

Koronto said his parents spoke maay but he didn't. Here's a clip between a maay guy and waqooyi, see if u understand.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=bV_mfOmOTHY

Most niiko songs are also in maay or a reer xamar remix of a maay song.

Voltage, its a different dialect, just cause u don't understand it doesn't mean its not Somali. Af-Baraawe is not Somali, but maay is a different dialect of Somali.

Shirib, Spanish and Italian might also have been same once but today they are different, wallahi may May is a different language to me, I don't even get 7% the few times I saw people speak it.

King of Awdal, sometimes your ignorance is too much for me to bear bro. Kulaha "texas" iyo "yank", are you under the impression XAMARI, reer Xamar accent is May may?? Even reer Xamarka cadcadka understand reer Waqooyi but don't get Af May

Here is Af Maay song, the lady singing it is Siad Barre's cousin and was the first woman to sign nationally, she was raised in baydhabo and that is how she knows Af Maay,

hassan adan samatar who also sings in af maay is standing by her

Screw do u speak af-maay.

Voltage, just cause u don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't Somali. A different dialect, but nont the less still Somali. Daleeys is Siad Barre's cousin, never knew.

Awdal, most niiko songs are in af maay, next wedding check it out. Even I don't understand Kuusow but have fun, http://www.markacadey.net/music.htm
