At least the Kenyans got a very good education system, I have noticed that Kenyan Born Somalis have much higher standard of English than Somalis from Somalia.

They cleaned up on jobs here in the UK working with the Somali community. They are usually a lot more articulate/educated.

Perfect english is not a measure of good intellect or a sign of civility. Somalis had their langauge as the official and instruction language, very few africans can lay claim to such honour after independence. This explains why Somalis don't speak english or speak it brokenly at first before they perfect it.

We are productive people and very entrepreneurial, opened the eyes of our cousins in kenya, awakened their spirit and taught them they can speak somali without fear of retribution, they can own their destiny, that they can join us in travelling the world and gain more knowledge and experience so they can come back to their homeland and invest. Thanks to Somalis from Somalia American universities and colleges are filled with Somali sijui, if only they could stop speaking that low grade ridiculous Kiswahili kenyans themsevles find pathetic.
