7 years is a long time to date anyone.

She needs to move on because she has made it easy for the guy. She surrendered her bargaining chips early on and has shown herself to be too available for him. He has taken her for granted as he has seen her put a whole lot more into the relationship than him.

My advice:

1. Never fall for someone quickly.
2. Never give your heart to someone completely, but keep a majority for yourself.
3. Never make yourself to be too available - let the other person earn your love and attention.
4. Learn when to walk away from a relationship.
5. Be clear in what you want from a person at the get go.
