no matter how much destruction someone who is muslim causes, I dont think anyone has the right to call him a kafir. I mean, you say his actions are kaafir like, and not something that a Muslim should be doing, but to call him a kaafir is just plain wrong.

I am not saying that Abdullahi Yusuf is not a bad guy but As a muslim we don't follow our desires. We follow the text( the book of Allah and sunnah of his messenger). To critisize the Muslim rulers is disobedience to Allah because the prophet said in many hadiths concerning the rulers that EVEN IF THEY ARE OPPRESSIVE AND BEAT YOUR BACK AND TAKE YOUR WEALTH YOU STILL HAVE TO OBEY THEM. Inshallah i will post the hadiths. The way of the salaf with regard to the rulers was that they advised them but not publicly, meaning not critisizing them from the Minbar(Khudba prayer) but they use to advise in private.

this is the way of the salaf with regard to the Rulers but the khawarij use to make takfir because of major sins and use to go against the ruler. So Allah protect use from following into the path of the Khawarij. Amiin
