At that time, I was with the courts for ending the warlord monoply of Mogadishu. After they have been defeated and ran to Asmara and elsewhere, it became clear that they have lost and should give the government a chance. Instead, they have gathered in Asmara and send money to Mogadishu encouraging little kids to take up guns against the government, while they sip tea and chew qat in Asmara. From heros of the Somali people, they have descended to tratiors and common criminals. Any-one who supports them should ask themselves the hard questions of the Somali reality and re-evaluate their idiotic support to a force that has not only been defeated but which is running away for its life!

There are foreign forces in the country should they not be resisted.

I really don't think the Asmara group are actually doing anything. Its mostly normal Somali's against occupation and the Shabaab.

Sxb. I supported the ICU till they left Mogadishu and settled in Asmara. I never supported Muse Sudi even though we are close family friends and are both Wacbudhan. I never liked the idealogy of the man, if yo uask me. Nor did I like Ali Mahdi Mohamed post-4 month war, neither did I like any Mudulood warlord. But what is happening in Mogadishu is beyond clan and it is certainly beyond fighting for the control of few boroughs. What is at stake is the future of Somalia as whole, and people like the Asmara Group and their allied Al Shabab fanatics and the few clan-militias who support them for all the obvious reasons have no role to play in Somalia. They are the problem and the sooner you understand that, the better!

Honestly, on a serious note, the war in Mogadishu has nothing to do with qabil. It is between right or wrong. If Abgaal people stand up against the government, I will be the first to stand up against them. We should let-go of this culture of following every path our clans-men follow. It leads to disaster and the contributes immenely to the perpetual continuation of the Somali quandry.

Sxb I am anti qabiil. When people follow there qabiil, they kinda lose there principles. The ones who are anti TFG now because of qabiil would be the biggest supporters of it if they were doing the same exact thing and there qabiil was on top of the TFG and vice versa.
