Xplaya stop lying, put the commas where they were, I read this article a long time ago, and it specifically says Harti and Ogaden sent the pleas but the Marehan and the Tolamoge are not included.

it specifically implies harti and absame want to fight for the british but not the tolomage and marehan, and even couple paragraphs down it writes the marehan and the government are at war

non sense , you can read it in the link posted above by Mj , Mareexaan were included as the loyal subject and among the main petioners, so Mareexaan kids stop the hair spilitings.

hey but the kumbos have a point, how can you be loyal and fight against the government at the same time?

Big deal every somali clan at one time or another fought some English, but even that was indicated at the petition

In former days the Somali have fought against the Government
Even lately the Marehan have fought against the Government
Now we have heard that the German Government have declared war on the English government Behold our fitna against the English Government is finished

Their fight was nothing but a little fitna that was over. Now stop the Fitna again and be loyal.

It doesn't matter where you put the comma at , fact is the Ogaadeen only stated that only the Tolmoge among them was not inlcuded and its on the Muqaabil Ogaadeen which is 90% of Ogaadens.

The Mareexaan, Harti were exclusive whereas the Ogaadeen were speaking as only the Muqaabil section, read it.. its simple english.
======================================

We the Somali of Jubaland both Herti and Ogaden, comprising all the tribes and including the Maghaubul, but not including the Tolomooge Ogaden who live in Biskaya and Tanaland and the Merehan desire humbly to address you

Xplaya do you need to go back to school or something????

If Marehan was included the syntax would go like-----> , and the marehan desire to humbly address you.

BUT it says-----> and the Marehan, desire humbley to address you SHOWING that Marehan are NOT part of the people who want to address them.

Dude this is really a pathetic argument, come on are you just learning english??

Kuumbo boy,

Are you teaching me English little poppy ? the letter is very simple:

1- we the Harti and Ogaadeen excluding the Tolmoge

and the marehan desire to humbly address you.

Its that simple , we follows "and the Mareexaan desire to addres you" after excluding the Tomoge section of the Ogaadeen.
