American is not ethnicity, everyone in America is an immigrant or a descendant of an immigrant, except for the native americans

whites, blacks, latinos, ect, ect all have ancestors who came here forcibily or in their own initiative

so yes, I am an American, I was born here, I am natural born...my ethnicity is SOMALI though
