As for them discriminating against other beelo, I'm not sure about that. Pretty much all the Marexaan after the war came there, claimed property all the way to the xuduud of Kenya and built houses, and nobody stopped them. In addition these guys really had a really rough time along with Reer Ahmed as Tigrayga along with some other groups (No names) put them through hell.

Can anyone give one example why Calidheere is bad?

Mesha hala imaanina kutiri kutenahoo... You can not label whole qabiil as bad. Calidheer degan is balad xawo and we all know all MRs live there now unlike some other place we all know.


At the begining (1990s) a lot of people fled from xamar and since most of these people were reer Galgadudd and calidheere are reer gedo they couldn't get a long. I lived in balad xawo more than 4 years (not 4 years in a row)

Ninyaho how can you say that to people who welcomed you Reer Mudug with open arms after dagaaladi sokeyay? I remember hearing some dude talking to my Reer Ugaas Uncle and he was RU also. He was bagging on Reer Mudug talking about how they arrive and immidietely start dictacting to dadka degaanka in their own lands, and thats probably why some people get upset in Beled Xaawo lol. Anyway I heard this story one time about a Reer Siyad from Mudug who came to Gedo one time. He met another MR there and they didn't have any geel so the Reer Mudug told the other MR/Gedo guy lets just rob from that settlement, and the MR Reer Gedo laughed and said 'Everybody heres Marexaan we don't rob each other', lol..

Laakin generally speaking I don't think theres any MR more religious or more hospitible than Marexaan Reer Gedo khas ahaan Celidheere. Nobody was ever restricted from claiming land and building houses in Beled Xaawo. I'll put my bottom dollar Celidheere wouldn't be welcomed like that in Caabudwaaq/Balanbale maxaa yeelay dadki is dhalay oo meeshas degan baa la kal celin lahaa, imagine people ka barkacayo other degaano. Also another thing I've heard many times is dacwoda loo heysto a lot of the newcomers to Beled Xaawo/Gedo etc. waxaa waaye instigation of dagaal/war between clans that lived peacefully there for ages, maxaa waxaa ka jira?

Murax, truth be told reer-gedo were not kind to reer-mudug, regardless of which sub-clan they, all reer-gedo were xaasidiin and did not even want to fight ceydiid in the beggining they called the reer-mudug "xabbad ku keentey." I swear some reer-siyaad in garbahharrey even threatened my father when he made a small business during the qax there. Lakiin, this wagerdhac qaraabo of mines was in beledxawo liek two years ago, and she said celi-dheere are so xaasadiin to other Marexaans in general.

How did Reer Gedo not want to fight Caydid when the battle plans was for each subclan to liberate certain towns? Reer Axmed attacked Luuq, Celidheere attacked them from Beled Xaawo and Reer Ugaas attacked Baardhhere and even some of my most Wadaad Uncles took part, lol. My cuz who's Reer Cirrobe from Tuulo Barwaqo literily fought in every MR battle from Woqooyi ('80s) to the USC/Gedo to all the Kismayo wars. Ninyahow did you know Col Jaamac Shide AUN? He was a famous Reer Ugaas Lt and when USC were coming to Baardheere he saw some guys oonin Bardhere u dhalan leaving and he stook on the bridge picked up his AK and said if I see anybody older than 13 leaving I'll shoot them. He died maalintaas Allahu naxaristo. The USC mooryan hated him so much they wanted to take his body back to Xamar and celebrate with the people there, laakin alxamdurialh some people came and fought them off and buried him.

As far as the reer Gedo mistreating Reer Mudug, maybe theres cases here or there, laakin overall I don't think theres anything to complain about. I coulda swore I heard something like 'Baaq Siyad Xusayn ka soo baxay' somwhere in Gedo, lol.

Also LOOL at the Reer Garbaharay guy threatening Aabaha.

Kalebo if there is a case of Celidheere MR discrimination its unfortunate because the only way the city is going to grow is if everyone invests in it. At the end of the day this is probably Marexaan's biggest city. Anyways let me ask you this: If it is was the other way around how would a MR/Gedo be treated in Mudug? Ninyahow I wouldn't go to Caabudwaq if my life depended on it no offense, lol.
