I agree with the fact that they need to stay in Iraq till it gets better than than it is today because of the security of the entire regions.The Iraq war was a big mistake and is not the only blunder they have commited. they tend to follow blinding information that are not necessairy from reliable sources. The same is happening in Somalia.

As for Afganistan well go watch the a recent movie called The Charlie Wilson's war and you will see what they created after fighting the Russians.

Planet America obviously!! LOL

Again Leila , one has to factor a couple of variables here .
1/The world we live in --> greater access to information which can then be used to spread rumors &propaganda faster.
I mean had the French or British colonization of Africa or the Russian invasion of Afghanistan been on youtube .... virtually EVERY inappropriate or reprehensible conduct done by the US military is prosecuted and made public . EVIL doers, KNOWINGLY cause harm and try to hide it .
2/ The nature of the fight America is facing.

I haven't watched the charlie wilson's war , but I don't see anything wrong with America helping the Mujahidiin in getting rid of the Soviets.
