THIS IS OFF TOPIC!! I want to point out the fact that Issaqs don't like Mareexaan...it started way b4 Barre was in power. I was told last night that Issaqs were very powerful back in the day (I am not sure about year), nin Ogaadeen ah told Issaqs "Issaqow, anagoo Ogaadeen ah waa naga badan tahiinee...waxaa u dhigmataan Daarood oo dhan!...orda oo kuwa Mareexaan la yiraahda oo meeshaas (don't know place) joogaan tusa awoodaa leedahiin" or something close to that lol

Then Issaqs came to the hometowns of Mareexaan, little do they know Mareexaans heard about whats happening...they packed and left. Issaqs were like "meesha waaba ebaree oo maxaa ku dhacay kuwii Mareexaan?" In no time they were attacked and killed...ever since then they were holding a grudge for MRs


Look ya'll I ain't proud but someone told me its in history (or not) but it happened so I wanna know about the real deal. What really happened? Enlighten a sister plz ^_^

it all deoends on who told you and where that exact location was.
Isaaq's do not hold any grudge against marexaan....marexaan is the last thing that comes to mind walahi.

I'm not sure what happened and never heard of this story, but the only reason I can think of Isaaqs haveing a grudge against Marexaan is when Siad Bare was carpet bombing them in the 80s, and killing their culimo.
