Nabi Da'ud (as) was a great leader during his time; he was known for his wisdom, strong leadership, and was a good military stretegist. His son Suleyman (as) inherited his father's kingdom and was given the power to control the wind, the jinn, animals, humans, etc. No other Prophet ever had these powers, they were unique to only him and when he died, these abilities died with him.
