Im reading 'Wizard of the Crow' by Ngugi wa'Thiongo. Really disturbing comical political novel. The dictator in the book is really funny and twisted, and his sycophantic hangers on are even funnier when theyre competing to be his 'top man'...like 'Machokali' (fierce eyes) who elongated his eye lids so that he could spot dissidents for him...really good. And This year, my favourite book has been Nervous Conditions, its about a rural girl from Zimbabwe who moves to her richer uncles house to further her education...it had me gripped from the first line...something like 'I wasnt sad when my brother died'...if youre into duality of culture, femminism and religious idealogy its a really good novel...!

How come girls read more books than we do? No wonder they're more articulate and receive higher grades. This world of ours has a lot of dudes walking around, stuttering and shit, spewing the most ridiculously phrased nonsense at you. How do you cope with that ladies, day in, day out?

I have never in my life met a female who stutters. I don't think they exist. It's as if Allah intended you to talk so much, yet say so little. j/k

"It's as if Allah intended you to talk so much, yet say so little"

That sounds like a sly insult...was it intended that way :?
