Most definitely Oromo and Afar, research has shown countless times that they are our cousins. The Habasha are of a totally different stock tough, very distantly related. I believe Masai are closer to us in genealogy than the Habasha.

They are virtually identical to Somalis, but they're not even Cushitic, which makes me believe that our language families are just modern fallacies. If we're not related to Massai, then anthropology doesn't make sense. Even their clothing resembles our patterns somewhat.

Yes & No. Ethiopians and Somalis- have a lot in common. They are Neighboring countries, refined looks as opposed to the other adoon african looks, they are neighbors with Yemen or middle east arabs, meaning a definite inter-marriage, hence the offspring of a new breed: None adoon looking africans.But the question is: Why are their looks completely different yet almost the same. Somalis are darker and have caucasian sharp looks. They are basically darker looking arabs, indicating that since somalis are 100% muslims, they were definitely a product of arab intermingling and cross breeding. Ethiopians looks is plain and pale looking. They are very light skinned with a sense of plain, no facial "Jiini' look. Meaning they have nothing in their faces that is pulling, their looks are not as impressive as somalis. Also the height factor, somalis are taller- somali women are tall and gracefull. Ethiopian women are short and awkward. They walk like tomboys or reer baaadiyees! Basically we can assume-- eithiopians are not descandants of arabs but descandants of the refugee Yuhuds from Israel. Somalis origin is similar to that Darood myth of --a darood on a tree.

Even though both of our peoples have very distinct features that are different than the rest on the continent, we have slight variations as well. The Somalis tend to have more straight-like hair (yet to see a Somali with coarse hair) and extremely narrow nose and to be a little darker (not all of course) than habeshas. The Semetic Habeshas (Amhara and Tigray) tend to have natural curly hair (most have curly some do have coarse hair though), narrow nose and a little lighter skin shade (not all of course). The Oromos tend to be a little darker but have the same features. The Gambellas are also indigenous to Ethiopia who look nothing like the Amharas, Tigrays, Oromos, Gurages etc...and their names and culture are more similar to the Southern Sudanese.
