They will miss out on the Playground fun memories.. I have fond memories of school days
I wouldn't turn my kids into geeks with no friends and social skills.
The parents with the wildest most rebellious kids are the ones who tried too hard..thats my opinion based on empirical evidence (my friends :) ) The xalimos who went wild came from overbearing and too strict households..

i never said anything is wrong in protecting them from dangers. and dont you think you are going over the top about geting them a sex partner? not that there is nothing wrong with that at all as long as he is 15 or above.
Your comment didnt make sense...are you having a laugh?

Bottom line sis..i think you are shifting your responsibilites to educate your children on to Traceys and Susans who will not teach your kids about their history or culture or the correct understanding of their religion..but will indeed force on them a very eurocentric understanding of the world.
it's difficult living in to different culture because you have fit into both..snce we are muslims we do draw a line somewhere.
..there are a lot of advantages of knowing other peoples culture ...the more you know the easier to communicate, and build a brigde between two different world...we live in a globalization age so there is nothing wrong. Inshalah i will spend my time with my children, raising them to the best of my ability, teaching them to have a sense of values and compassion for their fellow. religion,
language, hiritage and culture
