LOOOOL
I know that dude, that's Mahad Turbashaash. Funny guy, but what's his walaweyn azz doing in Hargeisa.
btw, British International School is like a franchise in the private education sector. There are BIS and also American International Schools all over the globe and they're recognised by colleges and universities all over the world if they stick to the 'franchise' rules.

Re: British International School in Hargeysa
hyper & fah,
Somalis have a lunacy for Gaalo language. Some of them think, if you dont speack and write the europian language; you are not educated. Some of them dont understand, education in the world started from where Muslims live today. The Midle east and North Africa.
So, when some people say, British taught Somalis how to read and write is absurd. People in centuries before the Gaalo came to our land, used to read and write the Quran. So how can one say british taught us? may be English; but is that knowledge or a way of communication? In Somali 70s and 80s all the students were educated in Somalia, and they were much informed then these kids that I see today in Europe and America. How many Americans/british whom English is their first language are there, but who can solve the basic math (simple addition) problem, or even sometimes cant write sentence academically?
I hope we can distinguish the language and education level.

If hadn't been for he europeans somalis would still have been fuckken camels , the idea of state and naion building was brough to us by the europeans, wether we like it or not is beside the point.

Private enterprise can call themselves what they want
It adds to the cosmpolitan feel of a city if there are names from all over the world. I am typing this message from a building named after a famous non-violent indian in London UK
