Daahir Aweys is a man of his word.

We will not negotiate with TFG.
Let sh.sharif do what he want,i dont think alshabaab really cared about what sh.sharif says or says not.
They respect Daahir Aweys because of their common ideology. Both wants islamic republic in somalia,both views tfg as traitors whose heads should be cutt off.

How is Dahir Aweys more of a Muslim than Shaykh Sharif? Is it because he is scared of the Americans capturing him and Somalis have to go down with him? Rescuing the lives of tormented Somalis in Somalia is more important than rescuing few individuals who traded in the deaths of Somalis for the last 18 years. Shaykh Sharef has no Somali blood on his hands and wants peace for all Somalis in Somalia.

Sh.Sharif should go back to teaching kids arabic lesson.
He doesnt know who is the real enemy of somalia.
Why should they talk with a puppetregime of ethiopia? Making peace with TFG is submitting to ethiopia. That is what he doesnt understand.May Allah forgive us all for the mistakes we make. There is not 1 word that tfg doesnt utter or it must seek permission first from gabre and if he is in toilet than they must call to Zenawi.
The followers of Aweys and alshabaab will not talk to them by phone,msn or tv discussion let alone coming around the table.

Aweys is fully for the destruction of tfg,and the establishment of islamic state. That is why many insurgents respect him.
