Yeah AW , but in the Western Law the victim is not always compensated for essentially being a victim ..like in our system.
The Americans do it in Iraq when it fu.ckin works in their favor .
Case in point , a drunk Blackwater operator { or even a soldier} guns down an Iraqi for no apparent reason . They $$ the family .
The irony of it is , would the Americans take the money had one of their won been shot?

When it comes to sexual crimes especially that affecting a minor, Western law takes precedence and no amount of xa'al will prevent that.

It is up to the VICTIM to decide which route they want to go . Not society at large , not the "State" .
