I miss gazing at the beautiful star studded night sky ..the sound of wolves and hyenas in the distance, i miss the smell of xawaash in the mornings..i miss going to the colourful chaotic suuq ..i miss the laxoox, kimis, beere & suqaar..i miss the adhi..the procession of camels led by the geeljires...I miss seeing the beautiful traditional mutulo huts ...i miss seeing the little playful kids and the hardworking somali people in their natural habitat

Actually my Family went there a couple of summers ago, i couldn't go cus i had to work. I regret it .... The trip had to be cut short though cus they all got sick (they were all born in Sweden)...

Before I left when I was a young...What I would never forget is when we( children in the neighborhood) would play outside with no fear whatsover of being molested or stolen...

I went back before the war broke...and wallaahay I will never forget the blue sky and the fresh smell of the air..So many friends of mine invited me and it was fun just fun...

Oh please. I've said it many times before, if Somalis loved their country it wouldn't be what it is today. Somalis destroyed their own country and they only have themselves to blame. All these excuses of warlords/Ethiopians/Americans is such utter crap.
