Somaliland already has peace and stability, my parents retired there and I go back once a year but I cannot go back there permanently until I have enough money to live off for the rest of my life because there is no jobs..I went back in 2004 working for NGO but it was not in my own home region. When I get a NGO job in my own home city and enough $$ I will be back in a shot

you want to work for NGO and they pay your salary from donations? you should go there with a different idea like making a business and create jobs and better then economy.

anyway back to the question the part of somalia i am from is peaceful already.

boqor daarod, I am interested in NGO jobs short term so I can be with my parents, but you are right it's better to have a viable business that boosts the local economy
