Ashlee you are right, I have been to two exorcisms in the masjid and in both cases the individual was beaten with a stick and another time the individual was held down and a knife was lightly poked on their thighs.

Re: MINGIS CEREMONY.
When i went to Somalia at the age of 17
we were neighbours with this family from carabaha..the eldest girl was mashallah very beautiful..and people said jinn baa galay..I smiled at her a number of times and she used to give me the most horrible look like she wanted to kill me or something ..wallahi i had to look away. People say..she went to the market one time..one of the guys there fell in love with her..and she turned him down..if i remember correctly in a most horrible way. Then from then on gabadhii si kale ayeey noqotay.
Subhanallah one doesnt know what to believe with these things..u never know if its demonic possession or actual mental disease?
Also me and my sisters used to love hanging outside at all times observing the passing people lol and my mum used to shout at us to get inside the homes..especially galabta because people believe jimanka dadka galaa during those times
Jinns exist but so do a lot of superstitious beliefs surrounding them sadly.

Re: MINGIS CEREMONY.
I know this lady who is possessed by Jinns. She had one of these special ceremonies done. She was strangled (lightly) with a maroo & she was beaten with a stick. It's quite weird. And what's weirder is that she had to pay money for this ceremony & she went more than once. Why would they ask for money? Apparently, this man done sixir on her. He created a potion put her name in it & he went to Somalia & he dug a grave and buried it. So now this lady wanders this earth without purpose (istaqfurillah) she is neither alive or dead. She is not completely there - her behavior is erratic to say the least. She turns up unexpected, and then suddenly gets up to leave without a word. I really feel for her children because they had to suffer as a result. She moves house every two weeks, because she thinks there are Jinns in her house. She is a good Muslim - she prays, fasts etc. I don't know why this is happening to her. Hopefully, she'll get better Insha-Allah.
