This is one of these topics where you look at it, sadly shake your head, and say; Darn, no wonder None of our children are learning.
I mean none of of you are reading books like:
* The Prince, Machiavelli
* Discourse on Method, Descartes
* Leviathan, Hobbes
* Communist Manifesto, Marx and Engels
* The Descent of Man, Darwin
* Beyond Good and Evil, Nietzsche
* Mein Kampf, Hitler
* Coming of Age in Samoa, Mead
* Sexual Behavior in the Human Male, Kinsey
etc, etc

Salaama Caleykum!
To Zaynah: Sofie's World is an amazing book by Jostein Gaarder, is a Norwegian writer of highest class.
I remember we read that book at school and had it as group project. Though bit complicated to get
the whole picture, so if you like you can watch the movie with the same title to help your self.
Enjoy your reading!
To Garowegal: sis you are reading such a fantastic book and I would like to encourage you.
I read this book last year and spended 6 months and went to the bottom of this book
due to my English final exam. Believe me I got an A in my final exam!
So read on girl though it is more than a 1000 pages. It is worth it.
As for me I'm reading cell biology for my next exam in 2 weeks time insha'allah.
I'm planning to read The Da Vinci Code in the summer holidays.
Macasalaama.
