Ethiopia neither has the will nor the resources to maintain an indefinite support for the TFG..let alone occupy the whole of Somalia..

Wether the US picks up the tab or not..heck they cant even handle Killinka 5aad properly which was basically part of them since forever.

I never said I think they'll accomplish their goal but they have been aiming for that from the start. The other thing is that only reer mogadisho are the only force standing against the Ethiopians. And if they ever capture Mogdisho the rest of somalia will be easy. This treaty is just another excuse to postpone their withdrawl.

In the 120 days stipulated and that the U.N is going to automatically provide the necessary peace-keeping forces to facilitate their withdrawal?

Has Sheikh Sharif forever destroyed his name and honor for nothing?

Warr Peacekeepers are not coming if Peace is not secured in Mogadishu.

If the self interest groups in Mogadishu are willing to continuing fighting regardless if Ethiopians stay or leave, than I really don't see the need for Ethiopians to Leave.

This is a breaking point in Somalia History.

Didn't al-Shabab want Ethiopians to leave? If an agreement was signed that says Ethiopians will leave Mogadishu iyo Somalia oo dhan why are al-Shabab vowing to fighting their own people iyo peacekeepers if they come.

These guys have made it clear to the World they do not want Peace. Some in this group believe the capital city of Somalia, Mogadishu belongs to them like its some kind of tuulo or somthing.

This we can not stand for. Sheikh Sharif has saved his name and honor by signing this agreement.
