Somalia is in a worse situation than Darfur according to the UN. More people are displaced and killed in Muqdisho under A/Y's watch. Rape is common practice by the clan militia employed by the TFG. Kids in Quranic schools are tortured, night time raids in some xaafado such as Waabari are common, in those raids, women get raped.

How is that justice in any sensible way? Do you read the news at all? So much for Somalia being in Good hands. It is interesting how some somalis, because of their deep clanish mentality, they have lsot touch with basic reality. I am sure if you(surrender) had any blood ties to Muqdisho residents, knew their plight first hand, you made calls to your relatives checking if they are safe on a daily basis, your post would drastically be different. Now you told us what your clan is or how far removed from those somalis in Muqdisho, who are plighted and devastated, you are, either case, may Allah help you find guidance.

Someone should tell this warlord enough with death and devastation.

Why don't you tell that to the insurgents ninyaho.

It's not the Government nor it's allies who have created death iyo devastation in Mogadishu it's al-Shabab even reer Mogadishu know that.

This Government and it's allies have every right to defend themselves that is something you can't take away.

^ A Picture is worth thousand words, as such, it would be impossible to reason with you saxib. Let someone with no emotional attachment to a warlord discuss issues. Adiga, you are walled up, emotional, and defensive, right is wrong for you if the right exposes the fallacy of who you support, wrong is right if it helps your case. I don't intend to waste my time arguing with corrupted beings whose life has lost meaning other than willfully place themselves in the servitude of Ibliis wa acwanuh.

Take your propaganda somewhere else, are you denying that the al shabab are playing a role when it comes to displacing innocent people?

There was a hiraan article a while back that was talking about how al shabab insurgents would use women and children as shields against TFG and Ethiopians. These al shabab terrorists are not conventional fighters and conduct urban warfare, that's what needs to stop.

Isn't al shabab terrorists who kill and behead civilians and captured tfg polices/soldiers. If anything it's the TFG and abdullahi yusuf that are at least attempting to salvage the country and create peace.

Why is it the most ardent supporters of al shabab and the so called resistance are those in the diaspora who have no idea what's going on in the country?

Good for you bro, you will be saved. Your parents taught you responsibility and to think on your own. Allah teaches us in the Quran to be just human beings even if we have to condemn the closest to us. Few people can claim to be just among somalis lately. Good for you saxib. Keep it real like that.

It is a bit late and last gasp of a failed man. Why didn't it dawn on him sooner that the way to rule somalis is through respect and negotiations? His mantra was war, war, and more war on everybody who opposed him. Didn't you listen to his past lectures to the Baydhabo parliament? Where was his realism before a million plus people were displaced, six thousand were dead and 2.5 million on the verge of starvation? he made one plunder after another from election night 2004 on to this date. A/Y applied all the wrong measures and the result was to break further the broken country and people he found in need of repair and respite.

A- he employed the same warlords who were expelled from muqdisho.
B- he invited unwelcome foreign troops he knew would be entangled in a warfare.
C- he defended and to this day defends the attoricities committed by these foreign troops.

He is now a defeated man who understands his days are numbered. The thousands of Ethiopian troops he so religiously wanted their help failed miserbaly to deliver for him. His TFG's mandate is closer and for him to sound reasonable is to buy a lease of life for his organization so it survives past its sell date.

Above everything else, he needs to account for the crimes committed under his watch. Aakhiro waa la hubaa inuu Alle hortiisa istaagi doono lana weydiin doono everyone who died, who starved, who got raped, who lost limbs. It would be nice he faced some justice sooner.

^ KingAwdal, you heard from me first in here, A/Y is not planning to leave unless forced to. Ask his supporters, they think like him. Odaga wuxuu ku waashay xukun wax la yiraahdo, it is never enough for him. Read carefully about his news conferences lately, he wants the TFG to survive and the clan based system of darood versus hawiye to stay in place. Most likely he will nominate himself as representative of his clan again and run if they let him survive that long. Soomaali ilaahay ha u gargaaro nin yohow, Qabiil baa diintii ka saaray.

Well iam not gonna waste my time reading about his history it doesnt concern me. But i just see no end in site. Both the TFG and Al Shabab are after their own interest and at the end civilians are paying the prize. A population need to stand up for themselves but yall seem to be in a deep hibernation. As for the clan system am sure once they get a consitution and a parliament it can be reappealed again. If it was up to me i would recommend the swiss system to somalia and a rotating presidency among what ever federal states they end up with.

To realize needed changes, we need new breed of men in leadership who think beyond their clans. It is impossible to devalue clan system with the likes of A/Y whose power is gained through the clan system. A/Y and others on the opposite side appeal to their clansmen for support and they get the support they need, thus, Somalia remains in limbo, dead, with no future in sight. Wallahi we need Allah's resolution and that he gives us a break from warlords, clanists, mindless generation raised on hate. I have given up on Somalia already anyway, but it pains me that somalis as young as 20 think A/Y is okay, he is a just man. Such mentalities assures the death of our nation. Seems to me after careful analysis:

A- Clan matters more than a nation.
B- An individual earns respect by virtue of him being from the clan irrespective of his horresndous personality and criminality.
C- Allah doesn't figure into most somali people's thinking. Some of the warlrod supporters would argue with you about salafi caqiida, sunnah, quran, and they may be well versed, but little faith they gain from their knowledge. That says all.

RIP Somalia.

Well i hate to say this but clan politics isnt going any where in somalia so they must find a way to work through it or else it will be in a state of limbo. You think you are right and they think they are right. There must be a compromise and yall can meet in the middle or else nothing will work. If yall truly love ur country and people you will find a solution. This shit has been going on for 19 years now.
