How do you Type?

I type with three fingers and i have just typed this without even looking at the keyboard once

I type with 9 fingers and my speed is not too bad 50 WPM, I use to type alot faster when I was in school long time ago.

i don't remember taking any typing courses or anything like that, but i DO remember Mavis Bacon CD's all over the place b/c someone in my family was a slow typer. when i got my first computer in 1996 keyboards were not as small as they are today and didn't require you to constantly look down when typing. a sign of getting old is when you can't text as fast as you can type. i'm there,

You can't type with more than 9 fingers, do push the space bar with both your thumbs?

I type with 6 fingers....all apart from the 2 pinkys and the 2 thumbs....

I use only 9 but if anyone else can go for all ten or more, that would be cool. btw I ppl claimed they can type blind with 2, 3 or 4 fingers but i don't buy that at all. They must look at the keyboard to type. I work with alots ppl who type with 2 or 3 fingers and they all look down at that keyboard.

What are you telling us? you have extra fingers?

I consider myself one of the fastest typer with the most bizzare typing skillz....my entire right hand is used by 80% of the keyboard, however my index finger of my left hand is the only finger active on the keyboard which take cares of the rest of the 20%.
