a couple of years ago the HAFZA project surfaced on the online news outlets. its about the establishment of an economic city and region to be located at the Hafun peninsula in Puntland. i cant verify if this was a serious project or not but their homepage is still registered and Hafun seems to be an excellently strategic place itself. easy to cut off intruders from both land and water.
