I am not an African American or a Jamaican.

Why do some of you here like to generalize all Somalis at every given opportunity? So one Somali person does something bad, then voila, all Somalis are evil, selfish, stupid etc. That's so ridiculous. Treat people as individuals not as a whole group. You've got a problem with ONE individual, so you don't need to pass judgment on a WHOLE group of people.

First of all, you don't know waxaan hubsado iyo waxaan hubsaneen walaal. Aqoon ma igu lahid, aniguna aqoon maba kugu lahi..

Secondly, I don't consider it to be an 'expression' when someone says "Somalis are this, Somalis are that" they're grouping all Somalis to be the same, whether they say positive or negative things. I consider that to be stereotyping people based on their race/background/religion etc, and that's not a good thing walaal. If you've had a bad experience with a Somali person, there's no reason to think all Somalis are like that walaal. If you've got a problem with an individual address that person alone, there's no need to lump everyone else in the same group.

Thirdly, perhaps you should extend me the same courtesy too, why don't you ask me why I came to that conclusion, do you think I just got it out of thin air?

Ok that may be true. But All I am saying is, make sure you are in the right direction before you make fun of someone else's mistake.
