If you were majoring tech (Engineering, computers, and ETC) you don't need stats and probability......

But u need Linear algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, and some times Discrete Math.....

Almost(not all) stats can be done using Microsoft Excell. Wh not take course in M.Excell and master it. I don't mind stats, but my god I hate probablity. Coin is thrown, what are the probablities of it landing on its arse and all kind bullshyd. Who the fck cares and how doest that relate to anything we do in the world :x

I've token most of those courses except for differential. Probability was the hardest chapter but if You have a TI-89 You can get by the course easily

I think the reason I hated it was because there was a quiz every week along with HW, tests etc. Discreet Math was also kinda difficult. Linear and Calculus wasn't that bad.

Derbi,

I never said I did not know stats, I do however find it boring. Thank you for the very kind offer, unfortunately I am going to have to decline. Maybe next time.

We were trained in a new and updated version of JMP, I did find it quite boring and tedious. It was all about the t-test, p-test, probability etc which are things i already had knowledge about, it was more a refresher than anything else.

Stats isn't so bad, I had to take a stats course for my undergrad, most engineering programs statistics course is a requirement. It is boring though, and probabilities can annoying.
