whole wheat is not good for any somali baking, even sabayad tastes better and flakes better with white flour.

navy9 i forgot to take a picture of my breakfast this morning.lol
my mother makes it and we call it khoboz taawa. i guess it's yemenian name for it.
i asked and mother said: it's only flour water little mili7 and when you mixing you need little dehin so wont stick to your fingers.
you also need mixing and mixing for 5 minutes.
it's yummy with 3asel wal 7aliib.
i wouldn't marry woman doesn't know how to make koboz tawah.lol

Adeer, you should learn too, do not be lazy. We are 5, four girls and a boy...my brother cooks the best in all of us, i envy him :twisted: and yeah, it looks like Xplaya seems an expert :up:

You know what! my wife is an expert in baking and cooking in general

Sabaayad is different than chapati, laxooox, wadi, cambaabur

So which one would u like to know so i can drop you a line.

Mind you even if you have the right ingredients you would not be successful unless you are doing it for ages.

i never heard about Zabayaa but i was talking about this that my mother call it khoboz taawah. And we eat it every morning with honey and milk.
