Cairo or Al Qahira was built by Al Mou'azlideen Allah Al Fatami during the Fatamids empire before that Al Fustat was the capital of Masir, Fustat was built by the Arab general Amr ibn A'as and i think he built the first masjed in Africa.

maddy this is not best time to visit Cairo.
it's summer and all saudis are there.lol it's very crowded.
my sister studies there but now she back for summer vacation.
she will back in september.
