AW I have yet to come across that bro, I remember Megatron talking about how it hogged they system resources but I have not experienced that on either of my two systems that are running Vista.
Siren,,, thats a big job walaal. If u must downgrade, u should get some who knows what they're doing to do it for u. I really wouldn't mind doing it for u since ur in the GTA.

Do you have a shop in the GTA? Or do you operate from your home?

Operate? just what do u think takes place, it ain't no ER and no one is operating on anyone. not on my watch, unless u insist ofcourse, then I wouldn't dare to be rude.
well I don't own a shop so i guess that would make it at my place.

Gatspy,
How much RAM does each machine pack ? I am on a lil over 1G. I got the machine for $400 and didn't want to additional stuff to it.
Siren,
VISTA is not inutitive but give yourself some time to get acclimated to it. I was highly annoyed at first but am becoming more comfortable.
You can also select an XP based theme if you want.

good so ur keeping ur Vista. There should be no reason for u to downgrade to an Operating System that Microsoft is about to discontinue.
AW well the minimum requirement is 1 Gig, but u should always have more bro. How much it can pack depends on the motherboard. visit the manufacturers site and they should have that there.

Gastpy,
I can get another 1Gig but I am too lazy to get it and my use is very limited.
But I do feel sorry for those folks who bought XP machines that are not upgradeable to VISTA

I have four gig of ram in my system yet still use XP through Bootcamp.
XP is certainly more stable and reliable than Vista.
For some very cheap RAM check Crucial.com

Gatspy, well, you can say so. It a new Intel iMac and it could only take four gigs.
I do some gaming on it, you have no idea how smooth Assassin's Creed runs on it. I use it mostly for multimedia conversions, music and the usual day to day stuff.

AW, the next generation will be called the iBaby
Ben that really sounds like an awesome system. I haven't got passed the first level on Assassins Creed, got too busy for it. I really need to rented for a few days before Gears of War II comes out.
