Istun started a lonmg time ago as a game between Silcis and Geledi. It started as throwing rocks at each other and evolved into hitting each other with sticks. It was held as mock combats, and was always a ciyaar and nothing else.Diyeeshaha_Tolka wrote:Shirib wrote:Waa been, qof oo saas aminsan mise waligiis amini jiri ma lehDiyeeshaha_Tolka wrote:istunaka iyo dabshidka iyo badgalka waxaasi waa dhaqan jaahiliya marka diiniyan ahaan ma fiicna waana in la mamnuucaa.
dadka waxay aamisanyihiin hadii aan la qaban istunka oo aan dhiig la iska keenin in uu sanadkaas uusan noqon doonin barwaaqo ah oo gaajo iyo waxaasi ay dhici doonaan marka waa jaahilnimo in uu qof muslim ah waxaasi aamino..
ok hadii ay beentahay adiga inoo sheeg taariiqda istunka ..
The only people who have these ideas of shedding blood or what not are all outsiders. The people who have been doing it for centuries all say it is a ciyaat. Then some folks who came to learn about the game when Siyaad Barre came to power decided to put religous taboo on it and what not.
If it was to spill blood, there are a thousand better ways to spill blood on the floor as u guys say then having an istun.
