Seeing those pics gave me a flash back, on my humanity course, I remember doing several papers on The renaissance, and medieval times and other unnecessary crap that have diminished in my head. However, I'd say the victorian is more my preference on a women, Makes them look more lady like, Unlike the antebellum which looks mainstream.

Georgian is grand and impressive 8)
Regency its really sexy on the men but the women look comfortable & Good. :up:

Thats what I love about it. The men look hot and the women look beautiful without the uncomfortable corsets,laces, and other restrictive items of other periods.

now that I think about it you are right. I think we see way to much of the antebellum southern belle look that causes it to loose some of its appeal.

Ancient egypt is wonderful too but i hate those Gaudy looking Nubian wigs. :shock:

I didn't know people still learned to sew that way. Oh well. I guess its best to start with the basics.
