I use to think all the people in Africa are poor & starving skeletons, my sister went to Kenya, and she told me they live more of a luxury and carefree life than us. They've got maids one for the cooking, and one for the cleaning, the kids go to the best schools, they go to the hairdressers every single day. They have pedicures and manicures, they've got the latest phones, and most of the men have businesses there. They've all build their own houses, more than 5 bedrooms, 2 huge living rooms, 3 bathrooms, and they've even got cable.

But all that is not enough for them, they still dream of coming to the 'West' like it's some kind of paradise on earth.

No need to get offended, it's the truth. The Africa you saw isn't the Africa everyone else who goes there sees. With money, anything is possible.

Some people love the place so much they want to permanently relocate there. No offence, but maybe your family back there is poor?

Ashlee, Shanka is pm'sing and we already solved everything out in Gedo section...adigu don't translate me saying reer Puntland have replaced reer Mogadishu as the newest arriving refugees here as a smart response. Wallahi waxaa la waydiin karaa any Somali in Africa. On our trip back from the Somali border, there were 5 reer Puntland illegals being trafficked. Masaakiinta were paying laaluush (bribe) at every check point or they would have been arrested in some god-forsaken and remote military checkpoint. It is the reality.
